BPE Business Connections have developed a Managed Desktop Solution, we provide Hosted Virtual Desktops built to give functionality and delivered on thin client architecture* that virtually eliminates the need for hardware support.

 

How Does It Work

Customers buy the service as a hosted facility and so only need to have Thin Clients* and attached printers on site, together with their normal ADSL network connectivity.

Larger customers may have their own network architecture although this will need to be linked into the BPE Virtual Private Network.
You will be provided with a Microsoft Windows Desktop with the following applications:

  • All standard Windows applications
  • Acrobat Reader
  • Open Office (compatible with Microsoft Office)
  • Full security & data back-up is also provided

To access the system, the user simply needs to power-on the Thin Client* and any attached printers, login and their Hosted Virtual desktops will appear.

Monthly Rental:  £49.99per unit plus VAT (*Includes rental of Thin Client, keyboard, monitor and mouse)
